Siemens Healthineers new MRI scanner designed for reproducible quality: 5 notes

Erlangen, Germany-based Siemens Healthineers will showcase its Mangetom Vida system at the European Congress of Radiology in Vienna, Austria, from March 2 to March 5, 2017.

Here are five notes:

 

1. Mangetom Vida features BioMatrix technology.

 

2. BioMatrix Sensors track a patient’s respiratory pattern and allow the user to select the best exam strategy.

 

3. During cervical spinal examinations, and others, BioMatrix Tuners leverage intelligent coil technology to automatically determine the optical scan parameters for a patient’s anatomy.

 

4. The technology’s interfaces also provide consistent examination quality and workflow, speeding the scanning process by up to 30 percent.

 

5. Mangetom Vida is designed to offer reproducible quality that limits rescans and, consequently, costs.
