SI-BONE Releases Data on 5,319 Patients Treated With iFuse Implant System

San Juan, Calif.-based SI-BONE released the safety data for the first 5,319 patients treated with the company’s iFuse Implant System for degenerative sacroiliitis and sacroiliac joint disruption.

The study, published in Medical Devices: Evidence and Research, studied procedures in the United Kingdom and Canada from April 2009 to January 2013. The overall post-market complaint rate was 3.8 percent, with a total revision rate of 1.8 percent and a late postoperative revision rate of 0.6 percent.
