SeaSpine, Implanet get green light for spinal deformity system

Spine device companies SeaSpine and Implanet recently received FDA clearance for the Mariner Cap System, designed to address complex adult deformities.

What you should know:

1. The Mariner Cap System fuses SeaSpins’s Mariner pedicle screw system with Implanet’s Jazz Cap technology.

2. SeaSpine partnered with Implanet in February 2019 and received exclusive rights to sell Implanet’s Jazz line under its own brand name in the U.S. 

3. A commercial launch for the Mariner Cap System is planned for the U.S. in the coming weeks.
