Rubin Institute Surgeons Performs First Surgery in North America Using Latest Generation of PRECICE Limb Lengthening System

 

Baltimore-based LifeBridge Health announced that surgeons at its Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics have performed the first surgery using the latest generation of Ellipse Technologies’ PRECICE Limb Lengthening System in North America.

John Herzenberg, MD, and Shawn Standard, MD, inserted the P2 rod into the tibia of a patient at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore earlier this year. The P2 rod is the second iteration of PRECICE Limb Lengthening System.
