RTI Surgical launches new anterior cervical plate system — 3 insights

RTI Surgical added to its Established Therapies spine portfolio with the launch of CervAlign, an anterior cervical plate system.

Three insights:

1. CervAlign is designed to support cervical fusion by providing temporary resistance to flexion, extension, lateral bending and axial rotation with strength and stiffness in the cervical spine.

2. The device is intended for anterior cervical fixation in degenerative disc disease, spondylolisthesis, trauma, spinal stenosis, deformities, tumor, pseudarthrosis and failed fusions.

3. CervAlign features plates and screws in several sizes to accommodate varying anatomies.
