RTI Surgical hosts biologics-based surgeon education symposium

RTI Surgical hosted a surgeon education symposium focused on the use of biologic implants in spine surgery in New York.

The symposium featured presentations from surgeon faculty members from around the country. Presentation topics included the science behind bone grafting technologies including growth factors, stem cells, allograft and synthetic biologics as well as the cost effectiveness of new technologies.

 

Harvinder Sandhu, MD, of the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, served as the keynote speaker.
