Ronda Stryker sells 21k shares in August so far: 5 things to know

Stryker Director Ronda E. Stryker sold 21,000 shares of the company’s stock on the open market last Friday, following huge sales in July as well, according to a Mideast Times report.

Here are five things to know about the sale:
 

1. The stock was sold at $79.81 per share for a total transaction topping $1.6 million.
 

2. Ms. Stryker now owns 174,605 shares of the company’s stock directly, which comes to around $13.9 million.
 
3. The company reported $1.08 earnings per share in the second quarter of 2014 and $2.36 billion in revenue, relatively flat over the same period last year.

 

4. Company stock opened at $79.97 on Aug. 12 and the market cap was $30.1 billion. The company’s 52-week range is $66.44 to $86.93.

 

5. Ms. Stryker previously sold 21,000 shares in July. The first 14,000 shares, sold on July 3, went for $85.37 per share in a $1.2 million transaction. The second 7,000 shares sold on July 7 were priced at $85.19 per share, making the total transaction worth $596,330.
