1. Think Surgical and Ortho Development received FDA clearance to use Ortho Development’s knee system and implants with Think Surgical’s total knee active robot system. 

2. Orthofix released three- and four-year preliminary outcomes from its M6-C artificial cervical disc single-level clinical trial.

3. Shalby Advanced Technologies, a subsidiary of Mars Medical Devices, which is part of the Ahmedabad-based Shalby hospital system, spent $11.45 million to buy California-based Consensus Orthopedics.

4. Orthofix launched its Oscar Pro ultrasonic arthroplasty revision system in the U.S. and European markets, the company announced May 17.

5. Precision Spine’s Reform modular pedicle screw system reached a milestone of 30,000 implantations since its April 2016 introduction. 

6. Stryker will showcase its new-look foot and ankle portfolio at the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons Vegas Scientific Conference, May 18-21.
