Philips Launches New Technology for Clearer Imaging of Orthopedic Implants

Philips Healthcare has launched new technology to aid clearer and safer imaging of orthopedic devices, according to a Health Tech Zone report.

The iDose Premium includes iDose iterative reconstruction technique and metal artifact reduction, also known as O-MAR. The iDose technique allows radiologists to tailor image quality based on each patient, while O-MAR can provide a clearer image despite metallic orthopedic hardware.
