OrthoSensor raises $2.5M: 3 notes

OrthoSensor raised $2.5 million in a new financing round, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

Here are three things to know:

1. The sale was recorded Aug. 20 with one investor.

2. The sensor-assisted orthopedic technology company did not reveal how it will use the money.

3. In June, OrthoSensor received FDA 510(k) clearance for its Verasense Sensor-Assisted Technology to be used with Zimmer Biomet’s Persona Knee System for total knee replacement.
