Detroit-based Arch Medical Solutions manufactures cutting tools, instruments and implants for the medical and surgical robotics industries.

Titan Medical’s operations in Bartlett and Lexington, Tenn., totalling about 80,000 square feet, are now part of Arch Medical Solutions. Titan Medical will rebrand as Arch-Memphis.

“Expanding our geographic presence to Memphis is a logical move, as the area has deep roots in the orthopedics market,” Paul Barck, divisional president of Arch Medical, said in a July 20 news release.

The acquisition, which is Arch’s 30th since it was founded in 2011, came at the right time for Titan Medical’s employees and customers, according to Robert Kenyon, former principal and continuing president Titan Medical.

“Arch offers ongoing financial stability and expanded resources to support our continuing growth,” Mr. Kenyon said. “For our team members, Arch has a positive work culture that values and rewards the contributions of employees. For our customers, Arch has forged an industry reputation for excellence that will elevate our business relationships and foster deeper connections.”
