Orthopedic Device Company Impact Medical Gets FDA Approval to Market Products

Impact Medical, an orthopedic implant and device company, has received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to begin marketing products, according to a Portland Business Journal report.

The company’s products include screws, plates and suture anchors used in orthopedic surgeries. CEO E.J. Duffy told the Portland Business Journal that the company will be targeting the ambulatory surgery center market.
