OrthoPediatrics launches pediatric scoliosis system: 5 things to know

OrthoPediatrics fully launched its small stature scoliosis system in the U.S.

Here are five things to know:

1. The Response 4.5/5.0 millimeter System is the company’s 26th surgical system.

2. The system features low-profile screw design, including a proprietary set screw thread design for improved fixation and reduced cross-threading potential.

3. The new small stature scoliosis system offers a hybrid implant technology allowing surgeons to use either a 4.5 millimeter rod in cobalt-chromium or 5.0 millimeter rod in titanium or cobalt-chromium.

4. The Response 4.5/5.0 millimeter System builds upon the implant and instrument technology of the Response 5.5/6.0 millimeter System to expand the platform offering.

5. OrthoPediatrics is a pediatric orthopedic company with trauma and deformity, scoliosis and sports medicine procedure offerings, among others.
