OrthoPediatrics acquired Vilex, a foot and ankle surgical device company, for $50 million cash and $10 million in stock, Inside Indiana Business reports.

1. Vilex has both an adult and a pediatric portfolio.

2. Vilex’s Orthex Hexapod, CORA-based X-ray planning software and subsidiary company, Orthex, were all included in the transaction.
