OrthoGrid Systems released its new HipGrid Drone.

Here are four notes:

 

1. The new Drone delivery system incorporates the HipGrid for direct anterior and posterior approach total hip arthroplasty.

 

2. The incorporated HipGrid is a non-invasive, fluoroscopic guide.

 

3. The HipGrid displays, through the fluoroscopic image, a pattern that can be adjusted over the anatomy to visualize and assess implant positioning and anatomic alignment.

 

4. The drone system aims to improve ease-of-use for both surgeons and C-arm technologists.
