OrthoCarolina, a practice with more than 30 locations throughout the region, has completed its 100th surgical case using the Mazor Robotics Renaissance Guidance System.

Here’s what you need to know:

 

1. Alden Milam, MD, performed the practice’s 100th Mazor Robotics Renaissance Guidance System procedure.

 

2. Dr. Milam performed a fusion procedure, which involved operating on the patient’s lumbar spine to provide stability.

 

3. OrthoCarolina’s robotic spine surgery team performed its first procedure with the Mazor Robotics Renaissance Guidance System in July 2015.
