Ortho Development Gets FDA Clearance for Ovation Tribute Hip Stem

 
Ortho Development has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration clearance for its Ovation Tribute Hip Stem.

The stem is a femoral hip prosthesis that is intended for cementless use in total hip replacement and hemiarthroplasty procedures. It is the latest addition to Ortho Development’s hip product line and is designed for use with the company’s femoral heads and compatible acetabular components.

 

Ortho Development designs, manufactures and markets devices for knee and hip joint reconstruction, spine treatment and trauma fracture repair.
