OrthAlign commercially launches UniAlign: 3 highlights

Aliso Viejo, Calif.-based OrthAlign reported its full commercial launch of UniAlign.

Here are three highlights:

 

1. UniAlign is the first handheld navigation device for unicompartmental knee arthroplasty.

 

2. The technology identifies the “varus/valgus angle and the posterior slope angle of the cutting block relative to the tibia, for the transverse resection.”

 

3. In simulated use testing, UniAlign has achieved resection accuracy of ±2 degrees in the coronal plan and ±3 degrees in the sagittal plane, with ±2 mm in depth.
