The study, published in Pain and Therapy, examined 54 patients who had a procedure with the device over a three-month period. Eighty-two percent of the patients reported improvement after the procedure, and 62 percent showed “clinical meaningful improvement in their pain and function,” according to an Oct. 27 company news release.
“This publication is an exciting validation of Aurora Spine’s ability to provide safe and effective outcomes by utilizing the Aurora Zip product line,” Aurora Spine CEO Trent Northcutt said in the release. “We look forward to additional results published at the 12-month collection point and believe it will continue to trend positively for our physicians and their patients.”
The study remains active, and more patients are being enrolled.
