Four insights:

1. LessRay is a radiation reduction and workflow improvement system. It enhances low-quality images to generate images with similar diagnostic attributes to traditional full-dose images.

2. An internally randomized controlled trial demonstrated the device cutting radiation emissions to OR staff and patients by 75 percent compared to standard fluoroscopy.

3. The system also contains surgical efficiency features to save time during spine surgery, allowing for reduced time under anesthesia for patients.

4. LessRay is designed to uphold the diagnostic image quality and anatomical visualization required to perform minimally invasive spine procedures, enabling potential benefits such as reduced blood loss, lower risk of infection and quicker recovery time.
