NuVasive Acquisition to Boost Workforce 25% in 2014

Earlier this year, San Diego-based NuVasive spent $4.5 million to purchase one of its Ohio-based contract manufacturing partners, ANC LLC, and the acquisition is expected to boost its workforce by 25 percent next year, according to a Mass Device report.

The facility houses more than 70 employees and may be adding an additional 18. It also produces NuVasive’s PEEK, Armada and Precept implants.

The workforce growth comes as the spine device company nears $1 billion in revenue.
