Here are four things to know:

1. DT Elite Guides are designed to decrease operative steps during anterior cervical discectomy and fusion procedures.

2. The guides allow surgeons to pinpoint interbody dimensions and prepare screw pilot holes for the anterior cervical plate at the same time.

3. DT Elite Guides is manufactured with three-dimensional printing technology and is compatible with the Struxxure Anterior Cervical Plate and Honour Cervical Interbody systems.

4. “The innovative Struxxure DT Elite Guides simplify the ACDF procedure and provide the framework for a shorter plate to be used, which in turn increases the distance to the adjacent disc level wherein studies report a reduction in the risk of developing postoperative degenerative changes…” said Robert L. Wertz, MD, vice president of new product development, Nexxt Spine.
