Nexxt Spine appoints 3 new leaders: 5 key notes

Nexxt Spine added two new members to their leadership team.

The company appointed Bill Del Russo vice president of sales and named George Sims central sales director. Mark Medina was named western sales director.

 

Here are five key notes on the changes:

 

1. Mr. Del Russo will lead the company’s U.S. market growth strategy. He has more than 25 years of experience in the industry and was previously eastern director of sales for Alphatec Spine.

 

2. Mr. Sims is running Nexxt Spine’s central territory distribution network and has the responsibility of building relationships with key opinion leaders in the industry. He has 24 years of experience in the medical device industry and has worked with Smith & nephew, Stryker, Biomet, Kyphon and Orthofix.

 

3. Mr. Medina has 19 years of experience with device companies, previously working with The Orthopedic Implant Company, McKesson and 3M.

 

4. The additions are expected to strengthen the company’s position and prepare Nexxt Spine for long term growth.

 

5. President of Nexxt Spine Andy Elsbury said the leadership moves ensure the company will continue providing the “most effective and innovative spine programs for our growing surgeon base.”
