Nevro gains approval for spinal cord stimulation system

Nevro on May 15 achieved CE mark approval for its Senza Omnia spinal cord stimulation system, Medical Device-Network reports.

Four things to know:

1. Senza Omnia delivers Nevro’s HF10 therapy as well as other spinal cord stimulation frequencies.

2. The device is equipped with a programmer that facilitates more waveforms across the spinal cord frequency spectrum.

3. Senza Omnia also features a redesigned patient remote that aims to improve the patient experience.

4. Nevro achieved FDA clearance for the SCS system in November.
