Mitek Sports Medicine Launches 2 Pain Management Products

Mitek Sports Medicine, part of the DePuy Synthes Companies of Johnson & Johnson, announced the launch of MONOVISC High Molecular Weight Hyaluronan and the PEAK Platelet Rich Plasma System, according to a News-Medical report.

The MONOVISC High Molecular Weight Hyaluronan is a single-injection treatment for knee pain related to osteoarthritis and it can provide up to six months of pain relief.

 

The PEAK Platelet Rich Plasma System is a device that produces high quality PRP in 2.5 minutes.

 

The announcement was made at the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine 2014 Annual Meeting, July 10 to 13, according to the report.
