MiRus receives clearance for lumbar interbody fusion system

Spinal implant developer MiRus on June 11 received 510(k) clearance for its 3DR Printed Lumbar Interbody Fusion system.

Three things to know:

1. The 3DR portfolio features the Callisto 3DR PLIF, Hyperion 3DR TLIF, Calypso 3DR LLIF and Antares 3DR ALIF.

2. Hyperion 3DR TLIF is designed with stiffness equivalent to cancellous bone. It aims to improve load sharing and reduce the risk of subsidence.

3. Other solutions MiRus offers include a low-profile cervical plate, a real-time intraoperative sagittal alignment system and a pedicle screw system.
