Mindray Medical Acquires Dragonbio’s Orthopedic Business for $35.5M

Mindray Medical, a developer, manufacturer and marketer of medical devices, has completed its acquisition of Wuhan Dragonbio Surgical Implant’s orthopedics business.

Mindray purchased Dragonbio for approximately $35.5 million. Dragonbio sells medical orthopedic products solely in China and achieved total revenues of approximately $7.7 million in 2011.
