MiMedx granted 12 new patents YTD in 2015: 4 takeaways

MiMedx has received 12 new patents year-to-date in 2015 from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Here are four takeaways:

 

1. Four new patents were issued for the company’s amniotic membrane allograft product lines and eight for the company’s CollaFix technology platform.

 

2. Three of the 12 patents were issued to MiMedx since Nov. 1, 2015.

 

3. MiMedx is an integrated developer, processor and marketer of patent protected and proprietary regenerative biomaterial products and bioimplants.

 

4. It develops products and therapies for the wound care, surgical, orthopedic, spine, sports medicine, ophthalmic and dental markets.
