Medtronic Spine Launches Device for Multilevel Spinal Fusion

Memphis, Tenn.-based Medtronic Spine announced the launch of its MAST ALIGNEDSM procedure for multilevel spinal fusion procedures at the 2013 American Association of Neurological Surgeons Annual Scientific Meeting in New Orleans.

Medtronic releases multilevel spine fusion device.The minimally invasive surgical solution includes spine access technology, navigation and biologics options. The MAST system uses Medtronic’s CD HORIZON LONGITUDE II System at its core for spinal stabilization and correction as an adjunct to fusion.
