Three things to know:
1. The Mazor X robotic guidance system holds surgical instrumentation in place during spine procedures and launched in January.
2. Medtronic reported that its Mazor X system surpassed 1,000 patient cases in September and plans to expand the device’s capabilities.
3. The company posted $7.7 billion in second quarter revenue this month, which is a 3 percent increase year-over-year. The June acquisition of Titan Spine added $16 million.
