Medtech sells ROSA system in France: 3 things to know

Medtech has sold another ROSA robotic surgery system to a hospital in France.

Here are three things to know:

 

1. Rouen University Hospital in Normandy, one of the top hospitals for neurosurgery, bought the system.

 

2. Medtech developed the ROSA system for brain surgery in 2007.

 

3. In 2016, Medtech received FDA clearance for the ROSA Spine, a robotic device for minimally invasive spine surgery.
