Medtech sells 10 ROSA robots in Q3: 4 points

Medtech sold 10 new ROSA robots during the company’s third fiscal quarter of 2016.

Here are four points:

 

1. Medtech sold seven robots in the United States, two in China and one in France.

 

2. Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora are among the U.S. hospitals that bought the system.

 

3. With the sale of two new robots, Medtech has sold a total of nine ROSA robots in China.

 

4. Medtech developed the ROSA robot for brain surgery in 2007, and in 2016, the company received FDA clearance for its new minimally invasive spine surgery product, ROSA Spine.
