MedShape Receives $11M From Financing Round for Product Development

Atlanta-based MedShape garnered $11 million in new financing to fund further development and commercialization of its products, including the Eclipse Soft Tissue Anchor.

The financing round is a milestone for the orthopedic device company, which received FDA 510(k) clearance for the Eclipse in March. It has been under controlled market release since then.

The Eclipse is made of MedShape’s proprietary PEEK-Altera material.
