Medplast acquires Vention’s device manufacturing business — 4 takeaways

Tempe, Ariz.-based MedPlast acquired Denver-based Vention Medical’s Device Manufacturing Services business.

1. The acquisition strengthens MedPlast’s position as a leading services provider to original equipment manufacturers.

 

2. MedPlast CEO Harold Faig said, “Our goal is to build on our core manufacturing and engineering capabilities to provide our customers with a comprehensive portfolio of end-to-end product solutions.”

 

3. MedPlast partnered with Water Street Healthcare Partners and JLL Partners three months ago to expand its suite of services.

 

4. The Vention Medical acquisition increases MedPlast’s manufacturing capabilities.
