Medovex adds Dr. Karsten Ritter-Lang to medical advisory board: 5 things to know

Medovex entered into a medical advisory board member consulting agreement with spine surgeon Karsten Ritter-Lang, MD.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. Under the terms of the agreement, Dr. Ritter-Lang will leverage his clinical expertise to advise Medovex on its technology and the area of facet joint pain therapies.

 

2. He will also provide services to help introduce Medovex’s DenerveX System to other medical professionals.

 

3. The company’s patented DenerveX System is intended to treat facet joint syndrome.

 

4. Dr. Ritter-Lang has more than 20 years of experience in the field of intervertebral disc prosthetics. He has performed 3,500 disc replacement procedures.

 

5. This is the second medical advisory board member consulting agreement that Medovex has entered into in August. Last week, the company entered into an agreement with spine surgeon, Martin Deeg, MD.
