Medicrea’s UNiD ASI technology featured at State of Spine Surgery Think Tank 2017: 3 things to know

The Medicrea Group showcased its UNiD ASI technology for Adaptive Spine Intelligence at the State of Spine Surgery Think Tank in Los Cabos, Mexico, from June 15 to June 17.

Here are three things to know:

 

1. Rick Kienzle, Medicrea’s chief commercial officer and business development officer, Thomas Mosnier, PhD, Medicrea’s chief scientific officer, and Christopher J. Kleck, MD, UC Denver faculty member, sat on a panel titled, “Adaptive Spine Intelligence and its Influence on Spinal Treatment Options.”

 

2. The event’s co-chairman Alex Vaccaro, MD, PhD, moderated the panel.

 

3. The panel touched on how UNiD ASI technology goes beyond just traditional implant design and leverages data analytics and predictive modeling.

 

“We are the only spine company integrating machine learning technology with next-generation surgeon and patient-specific design/manufacturing techniques,” said Mr. Kienzle.
