Here are five highlights:
1. The UNiD Rod is custom-designed to match the patient’s unique spinal alignment, as well as align with the surgeon’s preoperative plan.
2. The FDA cleared the technology in November 2014.
3. More than 110 orthopedic surgeons and neurosurgeons in the United States and Europe have utilized the UNiD Rods.
4. This milestone comes shortly after Medicrea launched the UNiD Lifetime Warranty on Oct. 25, 2016. The warranty encompasses all UNiD Thoracolumbar Rods, UNiD Cervical Rods and all Medicrea components implanted in the United States from Nov. 1, 2016 onwards.
5. Medicrea expects FDA clearance soon for its range of top-loading, self-locking tulip screws.
