Medacta to host 8th annual symposium on spine, knee & hip advancements: 4 things to know

Medacta, a designer of spine surgery and joint replacement products, is holding the 8th Medacta Orthopedic Research and Educations International Symposium in Lugano, Switzerland.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. The symposium will focus on how implant design, techniques and patient-specific treatment can improve patient outcomes in orthopedics.

 

2. More than 1,000 people from more than 30 countries will attend the symposium.

 

3. The event includes presentations from more than 80 orthopedic surgery experts.

 

4. The spine program will focus on patient-matched technology for screw placement accuracy; minimally invasive operating techniques; sagittal balancing strategies; and intervertebral fusion devices.
