“This quarter we transferred to Medtronic members of our talented capital sales team along with a solid sales pipeline,” said CEO Ori Hadomi. “This transition was performed in a smooth and effective manner and we maintained robust sales activity during the transition period.”
Medtronic assumed full responsibility for Mazor X distribution on Sept. 18 and the company ended the quarter with a backlog of 17 systems. Mazor expects to report $17.2 million in third quarter revenue on Nov. 7.
Mazor also received three orders for Renaissance systems from the company’s distribution partner in China.
