The organization will use the systems at three of its medical centers.
CEO of Mazor Ori Hadomi said the excitement over the Mazor X system is generating “considerable momentum.” He added, “This is the second multi-system order during the fourth quarter, both representing new customers, and demonstrating the co-marketing activities with our commercial partner are increasing the market’s awareness for our advanced surgical guidance systems.” The system was announced at the North American Spine Society Annual Meeting, and has been well received. Minneapolis’ Medtronic ordered 15 system soon after its announcement.
Mazor will release the total number of system orders on Jan. 5, 2017.
