Here are five key notes:
1. The Materialise Knee Guide System includes three-dimensional surgical planning software and patient specific surgical guides for knee surgery. Based on the preoperative plan, the patient-specific guides are designed and 3D printed for the patient.
2. The Materialise system will be available with Lima’s Physica system.
3. Physica is designed to enhance knee performance and function after surgery. Surgeons have a wide range of size options.
4. The Knee Guide System was released in full in April.
5. Lima and Materialise already have an agreement for the surgical guide use with partial knee replacements.
