MAKO Surgical Receives Permanent Injunction Against Blue Belt Technologies

Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based MAKO Surgical received a permanent injunction against Blue Belt Technologies following a lawsuit sparked by Blue Belt hiring a former MAKO sales manager as its vice president of sales.

Jeff Gellman, former MAKO employee, is prohibited from working for Blue Belt in any capacity until August and may work in limited capacities after, according to the release. The injunction also requires the destruction of all proprietary MAKO business information in Blue Belt possession.
