MAKO Surgical Gives $265k Research Grant to Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery

Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery, based in Vancouver, has received a $265,000 grant from MAKO Surgical, according to a Vancouver Business Journal report.

The grant will fund a study conducted by surgeons at Rebound Orthopedics comparing the outcomes of robotic-assisted partial knee replacement resurfacing with traditional total knee replacement surgery, according to the report. The study is scheduled to last three years.
