Life Spine’s 3D-printed titanium spacer earns FDA clearance

Life Spine’s Ghost spacer system received FDA 510(k) approval, the devicemaker said Oct. 5.

Ghost is made of 3D-printed titanium and integrates porous surfaces for bone growth while maintaining an external lattice geometry, according to a news release. It is available with a variety of footprints, heights and lordotic offerings for ALIF, PLIF/TLIF and lateral approaches.

The spacer system adds to Life Spine’s interbody portfolio which also includes PEEK and titanium implants.
