Life Spine’s ProLift expandable spacer system portfolio has been confirmed as MR Conditional in accordance with ASTM standards, according to a Feb. 17 news release.

The designation means patients who have them can safely undergo MRI scans under specific conditions as outlined in labeling. MR Conditional status is granted after an evaluation of magnetic field interactions, heating and image artifacts.

“The confirmation of MR Conditional status reflects our continued commitment to developing carefully engineered solutions that support both procedural efficiency and long-term patient monitoring,” Rich Mueller, CEO at Life Spine, said in the release.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
