LDR Announces 77% Sales Growth for U.S. Operations

LDR, a spine medical device company, has reported a 77 percent growth in U.S. sales and 45 percent growth in overall global sales for 2010 over the prior year, according to a company news release.

The device company attributes it sales growth to ongoing demand for its VerteBRIDGE Plating Technology, global presence and pipeline of products including the Mobi-C Cervical Artificial Disc.

“Pricing pressures, procedure denials, delayed surgeries and the overall constraints of a down economy all contributed negative pressure in 2010,” said President and CEO Christophe Lavigne. “It is also quite encouraging that we experienced significant growth in key markets outside of the U.S. including Europe, Asia and South America.”
