Indiana congressmen who oppose the tax report efforts are underway to delay its implementation for another year or two. Republican Rep. Marlin Stutzman said an additional year could give Congress time to incorporate the tax into a larger package of legislation related to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
The Medical Device Manufacturers Association said more than 50 industry executives are meeting with lawmakers to encourage a repeal of the tax.
