Lakeview Vision & Robotics Develops Orthopedic Implant Inspection System

Lakeview Vision & Robotics has developed a new technology for the orthopedic implant industry to improve the reliability of small implant parts, the LVR inspection system, according to a Robotics Online report.

The system inspects small implants, bone screws and other small parts, while providing a three-dimensional analysis, during the initial manufacturing process. This can result in a decrease in the percentage of orthopedic implant revisions and recalls, according to the report.
