K2M Debuts New Cervical Plate System With Blue Ridge Technology

K2M debuted its Blue Ridge Hybrid Cervical Plate System that uses technology acquired from Amendia, according to a K2M news release.

The Blue Ridge one-step locking technology has been applied to address all segments of the cervical plate market. The hybrid cervical plate system uses a nitinol locking mechnanism that emerges seamlessly during screw insertion and requires no additional locking steps.

The system is designed to support fixed and variable screws to create constrained, semi-constrained or hybrid screw constructs.
