MESA Small Stature marks the company’s first pedicle screw available for small stature patients. The top-loading system features Zero-Torque Technology, applying zero torsional loads, or twisting forces, to the spine when locking the screw.

“We are excited to bring to market a 4.5 mm pedicle screw system that provides surgeons with the lowest profile alternative for treating small stature patients,” said K2M President and CEO Eric Major. “MESA Small Stature reflects K2M’s continued commitment to developing next generation products and is a critical component to expanding our innovative complex spine portfolio.”
